Iambic Pentameter

Each of you has six days to post a piece of verse on this blog that is written in iambic pentameter.

I will never ask you to do something I would not do myself so there should be 11 posts here by next week.

Please feel free to comment on each other's work.

  1. Beneath the waves that crash against the rocks
A sea of colour swims in harmony
The life is active like a busy street
Where pink and red corals are the city.

  2. I'm always there and you can feel me rush
Although I am not clear for all to see
My presence is shone through objects like trees
You run you run but you cant hide from me.

  3. I click around each website and I find
Nothing interesting most of the time
I think maybe i'll lose my sanity
Perhaps I could just fall asleep instead

  4. Castaway Souls
Far away souls are lost in a trapped world
Struggles of a daily life work is done
The end nears daylight shines as the books close
Life begins doors open for a new place

  7. To be or not to be that is the question
But who does know what they want from this life,
Because all this will be gone soon
A new start and what will be left is up to you.
